Jeff Hansen

Landscape Design, Sales and Project Management

Jeff and his wife, Cindy decided to move to Florida in 2006 where he was hired as the Chief Horticulturist and later became Manager at the Butterfly Rainforest at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

After ten years and several advancements, Jeff decided to get back to his passion for working outside being creative and working with Matt Lucas to create beautiful outdoor living spaces for A Beautiful Yard customers.

Jeff has nearly forty years’ experience working for various landscape and tree companies. He also operated his own landscape business for fifteen years in the Finger Lakes area of New York state.

Our Staff

We have a small 13 person staff and that is just fine with us. A small, happy workforce is what makes for the best yards. Several of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years. We don’t have a lot of job openings and that’s a good thing. We are a tight-knit group with one thing in mind: making beautiful yards.

Where we work

We primarily work with our friends and neighbors throughout Alachua County. While most of our work takes place in Gainesville, Florida, we often work all over Alachua and nearby counties. Our mission is to leave all our customers with a beautiful yard.
